Sometimes people ask me what equipment I use for my adventures. So here is an extract of the most important gear. Off course there are a lot more things I need (tripod, batteries, timer, appropriate outdoor-clothing, filters, etc.). But something is really close to my heart: The best camera is always the one you have with you. Not the good and expensive equipment do great shots – It's you, your eyes, your skills for perspectives and especially your passion.
Nikon D800That's my personal flagship I will never miss. Equipped with a full-frame sensor the pictures are available in very high resolution what gives me the opportunity to use them for printable use as well.
24-70MM F/2.8G ED AF-S NIKKOR
That's the lens I need most of the time because of its focal length and optical quality. It was the first lens I bought.
14-24MM F/2.8G ED AF-S NIKKOR
My lens for awesome and very brilliant landscape shots. With a focal length of 14mm you capture a wide range and that's pretty cool and stunning.
80–400MM 1:4,5–5,6 G ED VR AF-S NIKKOR
The tele zoom for close shots. Most of the time I use it for animals like ibexes or marmots.
Lowepro Whistler BP 350 AW
The modular waterproof bag for all my equipment from Lowepro. Because of its design, long hikes are no problem and it feels very comfortable. A bag I really swear by.
DJI Phantom 4 Pro
The beast of a drone from DJI to do awesome aerial shots. I really like it.
Lowepro Droneguard BP 450 AW
A backpack to keep the drone safe.
